Water Treatment Engineer-Qassim

• Control and coordinate all operational functions within MNGHA areas such as water treatment plant, sewage treatment
plant, water supplies, sewage lift station, swimming pools, etc. as applicable in the region by ensuring compliance with
water quality and safety standards and relevant established policies and procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of all operational functions of assignment.
• Ensure that adequate stocks of Water Treatment Chemicals are available.
• Design domestic or industrial water or wastewater treatment plants, including advanced facilities with sequencing
batch reactors (SBR), membranes, lift stations, headworks, surge overflow basins, ultraviolet disinfection systems,
aerobic digesters, sludge lagoons, or control buildings.
• Analyze and recommend the following: chemical, biological, or other wastewater treatment methods to prepare water
for industrial or domestic use; sludge treatment or disposal methods, storm water or floodplain drainage systems to
control erosion.
• Conduct environmental impact studies related to water and wastewater collection, treatment, or distribution.
• Conduct feasibility studies for the construction of facilities, such as water supply systems, run-off collection networks,
water and wastewater treatment plants, or wastewater collection systems.
• Monitor the construction of decentralized and on-site wastewater treatment systems, including reclaimed water
facilities.
• Monitor and coordinate all operational functions in Main Water Treatment Plan & Main Sewage Treatment Plant.
• Ensure compliance with water quality standards and relevant DPPs.
• Ensure compliance with departmental safety and JCI, CBAHI and Infection Control Department’s standards.
• Perform other job-related duties.

Master Degree in Water Treatment or equivalent – Preferred
Registration with Saudi Council of Engineers – Essential

Work Experience | Minimum of 8 (eight) years position-related experience as Water Treatment Engineer or similar engineering field in comparable setting/environment – Essential

English Language Level – I – Essential
