1-He is governed by the responsibilities outlined in the Medical Staff Bylaws.
2- Demonstrate a strong commitment in applying person center care principles and exhibit excellent communication skills, fostering positive relationships with patients and their families.
3- Provides the highest quality of orthopedic care within the Orthopedic Surgery service.
4- Operate in the OR within his approved privileges.
5- Physically present in the OR to assess and supervise his assistant to conduct surgery when his assistant has no approved privileges to carry out the procedure under the category of Solo in the privileges form.
6- Expected to be present and productive during normal working hours.
7-To be available for contact at any time while in town.
8- Carry on administrative duties as assigned by the Section Head, Chairman of Surgery or Executive Director.
9- Continuously upgrades his academic requirements and skills by actively participating in the continuing medical education program in the hospital.
10- Involvement in the instruction and education of the orthopedic residents.
11- Encouraged to undertake research activities.
12- Reports to the Department Chairman through his Section Head.
13- Attend and participates in all division meetings, educational programs of the division and other meetings as requested by the Section Head or Chairman of Surgery.
14- Responsible for submitting approved TRI\\ by the Section Head, to block his clinic or provide approved coverage by completing the clinic blocking form through the proper chain of command and blocking the OR prior to submitting the TRA to the Chairman for final approval. Ensure approval of proper TRA by the Chairman before going on leave.
15- Meet the CME requirements of Saudi specialization.
16- Maintain the spirit of teamwork in the Division of Orthopedic Surgery.
17- Participates in the ongoing quality management program.
18- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Graduate from a medical school recognized by NGHA.
Successful completion of a structured, accredited residency training program acceptable to NGHA.
ertification by the appropriate specialty board approved by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties and acceptable to NGHA.
Total experience training and post-training should be equal to, or more than, seven (7) years. The candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a tertiary care center in Orthopedic Surgery
after certification. Of this, at least one year should be abroad in a program acceptable to NGHA.
